Wat als het monster niet buiten ons leeft, maar diep vanbinnen in het lichaam borrelt?
In Commonstro ontvouwt zich een voortdurende metamorfose waarin vijf lichamen zich verliezen en weer terugvinden. Wat begint als een zacht fluisteren, barst open in een fysieke eruptie van binnenuit. Een choreografie die raakt aan de monsterlijke ambiguïteit. In zijn solodebuut Monstrare/Monere (2021) verkent Milø Slayers de grens tussen mens en monster. Waar eindigt het ‘normale’ lichaam, en waar begint wat als monsterlijk wordt gezien? Vier jaar later transformeert hij samen met P.A.R.T.S. studenten deze solo tot een collectieve beweging.

Et si le monstre ne vivait pas en dehors de nous, mais bouillonnait au plus profond du corps ? Dans Commonstro, une métamorphose constante se déploie, où cinq corps se perdent et se retrouvent. Ce qui commence comme un doux murmure éclate en une éruption physique venue de l’intérieur. Une chorégraphie qui touche à l’ambiguïté du monstrueux. Dans son solo Monstrare/Monere (2021), Milø Slayers explore la frontière entre l’humain et le monstre. Où s’arrête le corps « normal » et où commence ce qui est perçu comme monstrueux ? Quatre ans plus tard, il transforme ce solo en mouvement collectif avec les étudiant·e·s de P.A.R.T.S.

What if the monster doesn’t live outside of us, but bubbles deep within the body?
In Commonstro, a continuous metamorphosis unfolds as five bodies lose and rediscover themselves. What begins as a soft whisper erupts into a physical outburst from within. A choreography that touches the ambiguous nature of the monstrous. In his solo debut Monstrare/Monere (2021), Milø Slayers explored the boundary between human and monster. Where does the ‘normal’ body end, and where does the monstrous begin? Four years later, he reimagines the solo as a collective movement, together with students from P.A.R.T.S.
